It has never been more important for businesses to connect effectively with their customers and prospects. New technology – including increasingly different and disrupting solutions – are changing not only how consumers behave but also what they expect from the organisations they buy from. Only those companies that genuinely put their customers at the heart of what they do and help them to navigate life’s uncertainties will succeed in the new normal.
To help ITIC Connected attendees on this journey, GMMI invites you to join Marketing and Consumer Specialist Louise Fowler at ITIC Connected on Tuesday 3 November 2020 at 17:00 GMT for a masterclass in customer engagement strategy.
Drawing on over 30 years’ experience across travel, retail and financial services, Louise will show how consumer expectations are evolving and give examples of how some well-known organisations have innovated their customer experience to change perceptions in the market, increase engagement and grow loyalty among their customer base.
Telling stories from companies such as British Airways and first direct, the UK’s most recommended bank, Louise shows how a systematic approach to customer understanding and customer journey engineering can build strong and lasting relationships in the marketplace. She offers some simple, pragmatic advice from her own experience to help companies re-think their customer engagement approach and provides insights into how some firms have begun to tackle this challenge.
Revolutionizing business travel, Louise Fowler introduced the British Airways Executive Club and the first beds on a plane. Since then, Louise has consulted for M&S, Allianz, O2 and recently concluded a 20 month assignment as Chief Marketing and Digital Officer at the Post Office leading a major marketing integration program to improve the customer journey. Louise helps audiences define and deliver breakthrough customer strategies by stressing the centricity of customers and how to connect with them in the digital age.
