- Cost containment is an ever-changing game, and attention should be paid to the nuances of dealing with rising medical expenses in different destinations and how these require a refined and unique set of approaches from insurance and assistance companies. This session will see James Walker of Charles Taylor Assistance, Mary-Jo McDonald of Global Excel Management Inc., and Jason Davies of The Phia Group posing questions and offering solutions to problems of increasing medical costs in the US and Europe.
- Can travel insurance ever not be a grudge purchase, and how are insurers in the European Union coping with issues like consumer education and medical underwriting of policies differently than the UK market? Andy Cook of Axa Health and David Barry of Finaccord will be covering a multitude of topics, including consumer purchasing behaviour, customer education methods and their efficacy.
- As the pace and scale of new technology and its adoption by UK travel insurance continue to ramp up, experts from across the insurtech spectrum will consider the importance of partnerships, pointing out the best ways that both parties can benefit. Gavin Dobson of Hood Group, Sabine VanderLinden of Alchemy Group and Elizabeth Mulley of Trowers & Hamlins discuss data security and data protection in the insurtech sphere.
